“Louise is a great physio. She makes you feel really comfortable from day 1, is easy to talk to and very professional. She takes the time to find out plenty of information before getting stuck in. She is able to offer lots of other services through the Studio to complement the physio side of things (acupuncture, massage, pilates) and is also happy to recommend treatments from other providers if its something she thinks you will benefit from. She constantly reassesses your progress and adapts treatment or tries new things to find a solution. The overall service at the Studio is great - all the staff are friendly and approachable and do their best to make you feel welcome. Would highly recommend Lou and The Studio to anyone.” February 18, 2010 - Kat
“Louise has worked with us as the Principle Physiotherapist at The Studio- Pilates & Physiotherapy through several issues and each time has shown understanding and integrity. She follows up her core physiotherapy discipline with a love for the life that a healthy body can support. One of her greatest attributes is her following up her own enthusiam for her own passions with assisting others to participate but within their own capabilities. Currently she is helping 'grandmas' be more confident on their mountain bikes , girls to run and golfers to understand what their body contributes to their sport. In addition her contributions to 'Pink Pilates' for Breast Cancer awareness, rehabilitation and support are awesome.” February 17, 2010

“I was first referred to Louise for a second opinion by another Physio after failing to make progress with an injury for six months. Louise thoroughly assessed and quickly identified my problems. At first we worked through the acute stage until pain was relieved and then progressed on through an exercise programme until I was finally able to progress to Pilates Classes.
Oh the joy to be part of classes and interact with other happy people at the Pilates Studio!!! I am now able to carry on my active out-door regime of exercise that I need to be happy and fit!!! I enjoy my weekly Pilates Class.
The atmosphere at the Pilates Centre is calm, healing and supportive. Louise is always encouraging and caring, and this reflects through to all the members of the team. Consequently everyone going there is happy and we are all treated as friends.
Keep up the good work Louise and your team. We really enjoy coming into your happy, friendly, healing environment.”

“Recurrent leg and back pains brought me to Pilates after doctors, specialists, physical therapy and acupuncture failed to provide long-term relief. Within three months Pilates exercises improved muscle alignment, instilled body awareness and altered my gait. I have since remained pain-free.”

" My posture and alignment and strength and stability continues to improve. I do a series of exercises serveral times a week. I have no problem doing the bridge pose! I do still have back pain but manage it sufficiently to allow my too enjoy myself. This year has definitely been the most (back) pain free year for the last 10! I credit this to my gaining knowledge, and understanding and working on the weaknesses of my body. I learnt this from trained and trusted professionals like you! Thanks for your help."
